Aldi sells Motorola Verve Buds 110 for 34.99 euros
If you want to buy the real AirPods from Apple, you have to put around 145 euros on the table. No cheap fun when you consider that you can only listen to music on the go and use it as a headset. Aldi Süd will have a cheaper alternative on July 30, 2020. The discounter sells the Motorola Verve Buds 110 for only 34.99 euros. At this price, you should of course not expect miracles in the sound quality, but the headphones on Amazon do 4 out of 5 stars quite well – but cost more there. Aldi Süd simply demands 15 euros less than in the price comparison. For 34.99 euros, the Motorola Verve Buds 110 are a real bargain.
At least the charging case is somewhat reminiscent of the real AirPods from Apple. The individual headphones, however, no longer. These are much smaller and are not so noticeable when you wear them in your ear. The runtime is 8.5 hours in total and communication is via Bluetooth 5.0. The headphones are even protected against splash water with IPX4 – so they can also be used for sports. The headphones are compatible with Android, iOS, PCs, Macs and other Bluetooth devices. There are no restrictions. The voice assistants Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa are also supported.
For comparison: The AirPods Pro can do even more – but also cost a lot more:
AirPods alternative at Aldi: is it worth buying?
With a price of 34.99 euros, there is basically not much you can do wrong. The Motorola Verve Buds 110 are much cheaper than AirPods, but they don’t look that stylish. The quality, function and sound quality are convincing – considering the low price. Those who don’t want to put 145 euros for AirPods are well served with these Bluetooth headphones. On the other hand, if you want a more AirPods feeling, you can find many copies of the AirPods headphones on Amazon, but they are significantly cheaper.
