Amazon confirms season 2 "Hunters"

The hunt for Nazis continues – Amazon Studios announces another season of the original series “Hunters”.

The thriller series by creator David Weil (“Moonfall”) and executive producer and Oscar winner Jordan Peele (“Get Out”) is now in its second round and will soon be exclusively streamable on Amazon Prime Video.

The first season of “Hunters,” which has been available exclusively on Amazon Prime Video since February 21, is about a group of Nazi hunters led by Meyer (Al Pacino) who lived in New York City in 1977. The Hunters, as they are called, have discovered that hundreds of high-ranking Nazi officers live among them and now want to create a Fourth Reich in the United States.

According to David Weil, the creator and co-showrunner of the series, the plot already stands for five seasons. How it will continue in the second season, he does not yet reveal. However, one thing is certain: (Attention: spoiler!) After the death of Meyer (Al Pacino) Jonah (Logan Lerman) becomes the new leader of the Hunters.

In addition to the main actors Al Pacino, Logan Lerman and Jerrika Hinton, the series also features Josh Radnor, Kate Mulvany, Tiffany Boone, Greg Austin, Louis Ozawa, Carol Kane, Saul Rubinek, Dylan Baker and Lena Olin. To what extent the cast remains the same or changes in the second season remains to be seen.

After the great success of the first season, the shooting of the second season could now proceed very quickly. In 2021 it could already be available.
