One subscription for everything – according to this motto, Apple supposedly wants to boost its services business from autumn. Because according to information from Bloomberg, the company is planning a new bundle subscription that will combine several Apple services. The new offer is currently called Apple One internally, according to the report. Whereby “a subscription” is not entirely correct, because supposedly there should be several price levels.
Apple One with several price levels
The cheapest bundle should therefore only include Apple Music and Apple TV +. The next price level also includes Apple Arcade, and those who pay a little more also get Apple News +. And the most expensive subscription should also include an iCloud storage plan. At least that’s the current plans, reports Bloomberg. The bundles should clearly be cheaper than the individual price of the subscription, the monthly savings should be 2 to 5 dollars.
Virtual fitness classes
Apple One is said to be available from October together with the new iPhone models. In the most expensive price range of the bundle, Apple is also to offer a new service for virtual fitness courses, which will be available on iPhone, iPad and Apple TV. This offer is code-named “Seymour” and is said to be based on similar services from companies such as Nike.
Subscription (miss) successes
Last year Apple significantly expanded its range of services. Apple News +, Apple TV + and Apple Arcade have been added to existing services such as Apple Music or iCloud. Recently, however, there have been doubts about how successful these new services are. Without a doubt, Apple would like to use the bundles to encourage more customers to take out subscriptions. A monthly saving of 2 to a maximum of 5 dollars sounds like a modest argument for those who hesitate.
