Although, according to the latest known data, Apple’s acquisition of TikTok is much less likely, the reality is that getting a platform like ByteDance could bring real headaches to Tim Cook and company considering their situation in the United States.
In addition, TikTok practices regarding targeted advertising, data collection and content censorship is not very consistent with Apple’s philosophy and the way it manages its services.
