Apple TV + above the clouds: American Airlines and Apple cooperate

At home we are streaming Apple TV + via the cloud. Now the streaming service is literally making it into the clouds. Because, as has now become known, Apple and the American airline American Airlines have entered into a partnership. This enables Apple Originals to be accessed via the in-flight entertainment system. Membership is not necessary for this.

Offer is adjusted monthly

The offer includes a selection of certain series, currently there are eleven productions, including “The Morning Show”, “Dickinson” and “Defending Jacob” and is to be adjusted monthly. Obviously, the entire squadrons are not available on the plane, only the first two episodes. The offer is free, membership or registration with Apple TV + is not necessary.

The Apple series can be called up directly on the screen in the backrest of the front seat. In more and more aircraft, however, these are no longer available, WiFi-enabled devices can then use the entertainment offer free of charge via the American Airlines app or website. For people who have already subscribed to Apple TV +, the offer should not be very interesting. Because the streaming service also has an offline function.

Apple Music & American Airlines

This is not the first cooperation between American Airlines and Apple. Because on flights with the appropriate equipment, Apple Music can be used without an otherwise fee-based internet package. In contrast to the Apple TV + offer, however, membership in Apple Music is required.
