Today’s app tip is for the Mac and deals with the problem of having to change audio hardware quickly or want to. The way into the depths of the system is often difficult, there are countless programs for the menu bar. For example, our today’s app tip: Ears.
To change an audio source or an output device, a trip to the sound settings must be made on the Mac each time. In addition, these settings are quite limited. This is where the three programs I mentioned use: SoundSource, Sound Control and Ears.
Unlike the other variants, Ears does not offer an EQ, but it is free and very “slim”. This means that it does not need an additional audio driver.
Here you can download Ears directly.
