Banijay Germany brings fiction company MadeFor on board

The Endemol Shine subsidiary MadeFor is responsible, among other things, for the crime scenes from Dresden and Weimar – now the production company belongs to the Banijay Germany Group in addition to Banijay Productions and Brainpool.


Fictional entertainment complements the network of independent entertainment producers and entrepreneurs: in addition to Endemol Shine Germany, Banijay Productions, Good Times television production and Brainpool together with subsidiaries such as Raab TV, the fiction company MadeFor now has its home under the roof of Banijay Germany found. The film and series business should thus become another important strategic area of ​​the group.

Previously, MadeFor – which emerged from Wiedemann & Berg Television, founded in 2010 – was a wholly-owned subsidiary of Endemol Shine. In addition to Max Wiedemann and Quirin Berg, producer Nanni Erben has been managing director of Wiedemann & Berg Television since 2019. In addition to heirs, Gunnar Juncken is the current managing director of MadeFor.

In addition to the crime scene series Weimar and Dresden, MadeFor also produces the ZDF series “Marie catches fire” as well as event films and international co-productions. The series “Ms. Jordan equals” recently nominated for the German TV Prize for Joyn is also a MadeFor production.

Michael Gaul is the latest addition, he was previously Head of Legal at Endemol Shine Germany and is now the new Head of Legal at Banijay Germany.
