If, like many of us, you were just waiting for a crab-based Battle Royale game, you’re in luck. King of Crabs promises just that.
King of Crabs is a new MMO developed by Robot Squid. It was just released in Early Access on Steam and can now be downloaded for free.
Robot Squid is looking for feedback for early access
The developers are currently looking for feedback and would like to publish the full title in August 2020. “King of Crabs is nearing completion. We just make sure everyone has the best experience possible!”
In the developer’s Steam note, you can see some of his plans for the next few months. New modes, a league system and the ability to keep pets will be introduced in September. Clan systems and additional player crabs should be added to the game in December.
They also announced that this can still be played for free after the full game is released. “King of Crabs can always play freely! Yay! “
Become king of the crabs
King of Crabs is an intense real-time multiplayer game with up to 100 real players per game. The goal of the game is simply to become the largest crab on the island.
On a huge island world, you can explore and conquer the island and defeat any crabs or other creatures that stand in your way.
With the gameplay you can jump to the top of the food chain, intercept and slaughter. Along the way, you can also collect a variety of crab species and discover advanced skills and skins to help you find the best crab.
System requirements for King of Crabs
If this is exactly the kind of fun title you were looking for, don’t worry about the requirements. They’re not too demanding at all, but keep in mind that this is early access and could change after full publication. You should be able to run this game without any problems, provided you have a PC that is only a few years old.
Operating system: Windows Vista / 7/8 64-bit
CENTRAL PROCESSOR: 2.0 GHz dual core processor
R.A.M: 512 MB
Graphic: GeForce 8800 or equivalent
DirectX: Version 9.0c
Camp: 120 MB of available space
According to the Steam list, this game definitely benefits from using a controller instead of a mouse and keyboard.
Overall, this looks like a fun little title that you should try if you are looking for something else. We’re excited to see how big the community will be and what it looks like to fight 100 other crab-shaped people.
