Display – Processor – Memory – Camera – Battery – Price – Video
Tracing the design of the Realme X3 SuperZoom Edition and quite a few features, this new cheap Realme phone presents itself on the market as an economical option for those looking for power, camera and battery, enjoying great screen technologies.
Inside the mobile we find such striking details as a 30W fast charge battery, a Snapdragon 855+ processor, 8 GB of RAM and up to 128 GB of storage, all for a price that should be below 400 euros. To this we add a total of up to 6 camera sensors, adding those on the back with the front ones.
In this Realme X3 data sheet we review each and every one of the components of the mobile phone.
Realme mobile features
In front of the mobile we have a 6.6-inch screen It is an IPS panel with FullHD resolution+ and protected with Gorilla Glass 5 that houses a double hole in the upper left corner, and that ends up generating a 20: 9 aspect ratio. In addition, this display inherits the best feature of the most expensive model, that is, a 120 Hz refresh rate.
As for the density, we stay at 399 dpi throughout its 2400 px high by 1080 wide.
Processor and memory
Realme has chosen to equip its new X3 with the Best Qualcomm Processor … of 2019. In the bowels of the phone we find a Snapdragon 855+ CPU that, manufactured in a 7nm process, is capable of reaching a maximum frequency of 2.96 GHz, since it is a Snapdragon 855 “overclocked”.
As far as the GPU is concerned, mount the Adreno 640 which will not offer any kind of problem with any of the apps downloaded from the Play Store.
At the level of memory configurations, the mobile comes with an internal storage of 128 GB and has 6 or 8 GB of RAM so we have two different models. There is no possibility of expansion by MicroSD.
- 128 GB of internal storage and 6 GB of RAM.
- 128 GB of internal memory and 8 GB of RAM.
Another of the phone’s strengths, although the big zoom of its older brother is lost, is its set of 4 rear cameras that are added to the two front lenses.
At the head we have the same 64 megapixel sensor with aperture f / 1.8 Samsung GW1 but the zoom is reduced to 20X because the mobile mounts a 12 megapixel telephoto lens, with f / 2.5 while for the wide angle there is an 8 megapixel sensor with f / 2.3 aperture and a 119º viewing angle. The fourth sensor is a 2 MP macro lens with f / 2.4 that offers the possibility of taking photos 4 cm away.
In front, the two cameras that appear in the hole in the screen are a 16 MP sensor with f / 2.1 and AI tools, while the second sensor is 8 MP and serves as a wide angle to be able to take selfies with more people.
An element to highlight is that both the rear and front cameras come with AI functions. This is a positive element especially for people with little photographic knowledge since it allows to improve the quality of the shot automatically, not only recognizing shooting scenarios, but altering the capture variables to always obtain the best result.
At the video recording level, the front camera allows to record clips at 1080p and 30 fas while the rear one allows:
- 4K recording at 30fps and 60fps
- 1080p recording at 30fps and 60fps
- 720p recording at 30fps and 60fps
Again the battery is once again one of the strengths of Realme’s mobile, Here we come across a 4200 mAh cell that boasts a fast charge of 30W, which means that we could fully charge it in less than two hours.
How is it different from the Realme X3 SuperZoom Edition?
8 GB of RAM and less storage
While the highest priced model has 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, in the Realme X3 we must settle for a maximum RAM of 8 GB and a single 128 GB storage option. Half.
There are three identical sensors on the two mobiles, the 8 MP wide angle and the 2 MP macro lens. The main 64 MP sensor with f / 1.8 consisting of 6 lenses is also maintained. However, the periscope lens is lost in favor of a 5-element telephoto lens with a resolution of 12 MP that changes the hybrid zoom to 20X, instead of the 60X of the SuperZoom.
While the top of the range mounts a Sony 32 MP lens, the model we analyze in this data sheet has its resolution reduced by half. Here we have a 16 MP lens with d / 2.1 aperture that, yes, is accompanied by the same 8 MP wide-angle sensor in the perforation of the screen.
The Realme X3 SuperZoom Edition is a phone that can already be bought in Spain from 499 euros. The price of the Realme X3 for our country is still a mystery but, since its specifications are more restrained, it is imaginable that it lands in Spanish stores around 399 euros, for 100 euros less.
As you just saw, the Realme X3 is the cheapest model in the family for 2020. It can be purchased in white and blue in two different memory configurations but we still have no price for Spain.
