Display – Processor – Memory – Camera – Battery – Price – Video
The Huawei sub-brand has launched a good number of devices this year, some focused on the entry range, others on the mid-range and others on the high-end. This Honor 20 arrives on the market with two much better phones, the Honor 30 Pro and Pro + and is classified as a high-end with premium touches.
To highlight the mobile, its large capacity battery with fast charge of 40W, the boast of a fingerprint reader on the screen and a quad rear camera. Against, being one of so many Chinese brand mobiles that are forced to go to market without Google services.
In this Honor 30 datasheet We review all the specifications of the Chinese manufacturer mobile phone.
Characteristics of the Honor 30
This model has a 6.53-inch OLED technology Fullview Display that boasts a hole in the upper left corner that follows the trend of large mobile phones launched on the market in 2020. It is a 403 dpi Full HD + resolution panel Thanks to its 2400 px height for its 1080 px width.
As for the aspect ratio is 20: 9 and thanks to the screen-to-body ratio exceeds 90%.
Processor and memory
The processor that we can find in the mid-premium range remains halfway between the top of the range of the brand of 2019 and 2020. It is a Kirin 985 that offers a lower performance than its older brothers but that still continues Presenting 5G connectivity thanks to its integrated modem to connect to any type of 5G networks (m1 2100 MHz, n3 1800 MHz, n41 2500 MHz, n71 600 MHz, n78 3500 MHz, n79 4700 MHz).
At the level of memory configurations, the mobile comes with an internal storage of 128 GB and boasts 6 GB of RAM.
Unfortunately, the reduction in the cost of the phone implies that this model cannot have the same optical zoom as the Honor 30 Pro and 30 Pro +. However, even so we are facing a mobile with four cameras headed by a 40 MP lens with f / 1.8, an 8 MP wide-angle sensor with f / 2.4 accompanied by a telephoto lens of the same resolution but with f / 3.4 aperture and a 2 MP macro sensor with f / 2.4. This leaves us with a photographic component prepared to respond to any situation and capable of recording 4K videos in slow motion.
An element to highlight is that both the rear and front cameras come with AI functions. This is a positive element especially for people with little photographic knowledge since it allows to improve the quality of the shot automatically, not only recognizing shooting scenarios, but altering the capture variables to always obtain the best result.
Ahead of the limelight is a camera housed in the screen hole that has a considerable resolution of 32 MP and f / 2.0 aperture with which we can also record 4K videos.
The battery is made of lithium and has a capacity of 4000 mAh. There is no data on how long the cell phone lasts with this cell, but what we know is that we can charge it in just over an hour using its 40 W fast cable charging technology.
DIFFERENCES WITH THE HONOR 30 PRO
The Honor 30 Pro is a mobile phone with a larger screen since from the 6.53 inches of the first we go to 6.57 in the second. However, the biggest loss is not in the screen size but in a refresh rate that remains at the 2019 mobile level: 60 Hz.
Individual front cameras
While the older siblings boast of an 8 MP wide angle accompanying the 32 MP main lens, the Honor 30 does not enjoy this honor, redundancy worth it.
Not that it is a big difference but only the two most expensive models boast the best processor made by Huawei in 2020. The Honor 30, meanwhile, is left with a Kirin 985 made in 7nm with 8 cores (1x Cortex A76 to 2 , 58 GHz + 3x Cortex A76 at 2.40 GHz + 4x Cortex A 55 at 1.84 GHz)
More limited rear cameras
As we have indicated previously, in the Honor 30 We have a combination of 40 MP + 8 MP wide angle + 8 MP telephoto + 2 MP macro, also with optical zoom but with a lower resolution wide angle.
All these cuts in the characteristics of the Honor 30 make the smartphone up to 120 euros cheaper in exchange. Of course, its price of less than 400 euros is its great asset to win users over the problems with Google apps.
Available in Neon Purple, Titanium Silver, Midnight Black, Icelandic Frost and Emerald Green, the smartphone arrives in stores with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage for less than 400 euros in exchange. There is still no date for its commercialization in Spain.
