Display – Processor – Memory – Camera – Battery – Price – Video
Motorola was announcing the One Fusion + a month ago last month, but now the Lenovo-owned company has quietly unveiled the One Fusion, which comes with slightly less impressive tech specs and a waterdrop-notched display.
Among the features of the Motorola One Fusion we find a 6.5-inch HD + screen with an 8MP selfie camera, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 10nm chipset, which is accompanied with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. In the rear, the Motorola One Fusion has a quad camera setup with a 48MP main sensor and power-wise it boasts a huge 5,000mAh battery.
We review each and every one of the specifications of the new Motorola phone.
Motorola phone features
This model is quite different from its older brother because it bets on maintaining a more classic display crowned by a notch in the form of a drop of water. This is an IPS panel with HD + resolution that reaches a size of 6.5 inches.
Like all mobiles launched in recent years on the market, its panel supports 16 million colors and capacitive multi-touch technology. Its pixel density per inch is 270.
Processor and memory
Taking into account that we are facing a mid-range mobile phone, it is normal that we find a mid-range Qualcomm processor that allows the cost of the smartphone to become cheaper.
Inside we have a Snapdragon 710 chipset made with 8 cores capable of reaching a working speed of 2.2 GHz. In the chipset we find a more than decent Adreno 616 GPU that allows us to play any downloaded game without problems. from Google Play Store.
At the memory level we have 4 GB of LPDDR4 RAM with 64 GB of UFS 2.1 storage that can be expanded through the use of MicroSD cards.
Despite the reduced price, the brand did not want to give up one of the hallmarks of cheap mobiles launched in 2020: a four-sensor camera. At the head we have a 48 MP lens that is capable of recording clips at 4K and 30 fps that uses the eIA functions of the processor to generate great photographs both during the day and at night.
This main sensor is accompanied by an 8 MP wide-angle lens with a wide field of view, as well as a 5 MP macro camera that is complemented by a 2 MP sensor that provides depth information to the set.
In front, the protagonism is in an 8 MP lens that hides in the mentioned notch with the shape of a drop of water on the screen and that has facial beautification tools or on-screen flash. It is capable of recording videos in full HD resolution.
The battery is made of lithium and has a capacity of 5000 mAh. It should not be a big problem to reach 48 hours of use under normal mobile use, but for the moment the firm has not provided us with data on the autonomy of the Motorola One Fusion.
Differences with the Moto One Fusion +
Although the two models maintain the same dimensions of 6.5 inches, the panel of the Motorola One Fusion + sports a resolution of 2340 x 1080 px. It is called Total Vision by hiding the front camera in a module that emerges from the body of the mobile.
Processor and memory configuration
The Sanpadragon 710 processor is one notch below the Snapdragon 730c present in the Fusion +.
Again the only thing the two options in Motorola’s catalog are alike is to go on sale with a single version of RAM and storage. However, the standard One Fusion offers 2GB less RAM and half the internal memory (64GB vs. 128Gb).
No fast charge
While the Motorola One Fusion and Fusion + boast a 5000 mAh high-capacity battery, only the second of them can boast Motorola’s fast charging technology, which with an amperage of 15W lets us charge the phone in less than Three hours.
Lower resolution cameras
The phones have 4 camera sensors on the back but the One fusion is below at the level of the main man (48 Mp vs 64 MP) and macro sensor (5 MP vs 8 MP). In the same way, the resolution of the front camera stays in half compared to the 16 MP of the older brother.
Obviously all these changes make the phone somewhat cheaper than the Motorola One Fusion +, superior in all the aforementioned aspects.
The new Motorola mid-range goes on sale with the aforementioned 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage for a price of 320 euros in exchange, as it is not yet sold in Spain. Color options are Emerald Green or Ocean Blue.
