Nubia Watch: display pulls over the wrist

Current smartwatches have a relatively small display, the new Nubia Watch does not. The OLED display pulled over the wrist measures a proud 4.01 inches. Much more information can be displayed on it. In addition, the very long screen creates a unique design, which is additionally underlined with corresponding watch faces. In contrast to the Nubia Alpha, which was introduced some time ago, the company does without cameras in the smartwatch.

The Nubia Watch looks like one piece, but offers the possibility to exchange bracelets. The housing is made of stainless steel and aluminum and creates a high-quality look. The smartwatch is operated via the large touchscreen and a button on the side. So that you can use the Nubia Watch without restrictions, even without a cell phone, an eSIM with LTE support is installed. Calls can therefore be made directly from the watch.

The older Snapdragon Wear 2100 is used as the processor, although the 4100 series is already available. Of course, you can also pay contactlessly with the watch.

Anyone who believes that the crazy design of the Nubia Watch has an extremely high price is mistaken. Converted, the China smartwatch costs only 219 euros. Sales start in China on August 5. The big question is of course whether the smartwatch will come to Germany. Nubia is attacking more and more with gaming smartphones in Europe. So it wouldn’t be surprising if the other products also find their way onto the German market. We would never be averse to such a smartwatch. But you would have to find out whether she really convinced in everyday life.
