The long-time employee leaves the company at the end of September and becomes self-employed. His successor has already been determined.

At M7 Germany, there is yet another change of managing director. Christian Heinkele will leave her subsidiary Eviso Germany GmbH at the end of September 2020 after more than eleven years at her own request. After a family break, he wants to become self-employed as a management consultant. His last day as managing director of Eviso Germany will be July 31st. His successor is Marco Hellberg. He is currently Head of Channel Management at the German M7 Division. The establishment of the M7 Partner Awards and the annual awards ceremonies, which are to be maintained, are the result of Heinkele’s commitment.

The Luxembourg-based M7 Group operates TV platforms in several European countries and took over the Eutelsat cable kiosk in Germany years ago. Here TV programs are aggregated on a platform especially for medium and small cable network operators and are offered ready for feed via IP or Eutelsat 9 degrees East. In recent years, Evisio / M7 has won numerous new customers and extended contracts with large network and platform operators.

While the B2B business is running, the B2C business in Germany had to be discontinued. M7 started Diveo, an innovative mix of satellite and IP reception, the end customer marketing of private HD programs similar to HD plus in February 2018, but could not establish itself in the stagnating market either in retail or among viewers. Diveo was then discontinued in November 2019. Freenet also launched a similar product earlier this year.
