EMUI 11 already has a release date and will arrive with the Huawei Mate 40

EMUI is the personalization layer of Huawei phones, currently in its 10.1 version, which is also being launched in Spain. The release of this version was a surprise, as EMUI 11 was expected to be announced. Although we will have to wait a few months until this version of the customization layer becomes official.

Huawei celebrated this weekend an event in China, where the customization layer has had a special role. Taking advantage of this event, it has been revealed when can we expect EMUI 11 to become official. It will be the next big update to the customization layer.

EMUI 11 will arrive with the Huawei Mate 40

It has been Dr. Wang Chenglu, President of Huawei Consumer Business Software, responsible for confirming the launch of EMUI 11. After reviewing the main novelties that have been launched in the customization layer over the years, it was announced when the next version will be officially presented. And we won’t have to wait too long.

Since it will be in the third quarter of the year, quarter that began a few days ago, when the new version is presented. No dates have been given within that quarter for this presentation. So it will be sometime between now and the end of September for it to become official.

The interesting thing about his statements has been that he has announced that EMUI 11 will be presented in the third quarter of the year, next to the Huawei Mate 40, the next high-end of the Chinese brand. For weeks it was rumored that this range of phones was going to be presented in October officially, but the one that a brand executive mentions the third quarter, could assume that it will be in September when these devices are presented.

While he is a brand executive, there is no official confirmation from Huawei about the EMUI 11 presentation. We hope to know more soon, but it seems that it will not take long to know the new version of the brand customization layer.
