On the occasion of the new partnership between the German Football Museum and Sport1, the “Fantalk” is moving to Dortmund and celebrating its premiere with a live broadcast of the UEFA Champions League.
The German Football Museum and Sport1 have teamed up: To celebrate their new partnership, the “Fantalk” is moving to Dortmund – in future, Sport1 will broadcast the format from a new studio set in part of the museum’s exhibition space. Today, August 14th, the audience can live from 8.15 p.m. on free TV Sport1.de and the Sport1 Apps watch the broadcast of the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League.
The regular cast of the “Fantalk” consists of Thomas Helmer and Laura Papendick, who alternate moderating, and Hartwig Thöne, who informs the audience about the Champions League game running at the same time. In the future, Jana Wosnitza will also be a new co-moderator. The thematic focus of the evening is on the quarter-finals in Lisbon between FC Bayern Munich and FC Barcelona.
But the guests should not be missing either: In the first broadcast, the moderators welcome Klaus Fischer, ex-national player, striker legend and “Mister overhead kick”, as well as author Ben Redelings, who will soon also be working as a columnist for Sport1. The panel discussion is complemented by the experts Mario Basler and Markus Höhner (Sport1 commentator).
