The viewers chose a Dortmund case as the next Sunday crime thriller during the “Tatort” summer break. The ARD announced on Friday in Munich. The first two and a half years ago, the WDR crime thriller with Jörg Hartmann, Anna Schudt, Aylin Tezel and Rick Okon can be seen this Sunday (July 12th) at 8:15 p.m.
The “crime scene: rabies” takes place almost exclusively in a prison where a prisoner has just died of rabies. Commissioner Faber (Jörg Hartmann) suspects that behind it is the serial killer and other inmate Markus Graf (Florian Bartholomäi), who had already killed Faber’s wife and daughter. Around 9.7 million saw the thriller when it was first broadcast on February 4, 2018.
For the anniversary “50 years of the crime scene”, 50 episodes from the past 20 years are available for online selection during this year’s summer break. For July 19, the election starts with 46 films. The winner for Sunday will be announced on Fridays. This continues until the end of August.
Last week, more than 8 million saw the repeat of the Münster crime thriller “Schwanensee” (2015), before that almost 8 million the Münster episode “Fang Shot” (2017) and the week before as the first “crime scene” Munich episode “When women eat oysters” (2003) over 6 million.
