Telekom offers a new offer for all air travelers. On certain flights, private and business customers can now surf the Internet free of charge.

The offer, which started in April, now also applies to private customers on German domestic flights and European short and medium-haul flights operated by Lufthansa, Eurowings and Austrian Airlines. With the Inflight Europe Flat, there should be no costs, as Deutsche Telekom reports. Business customers have been benefiting from this service from the company for some time.

Hagen Rickmann, Managing Director of Business Customers at Telekom Deutschland, explains: “According to a Bitkom survey, every second German would like to surf the plane for free. We are now fulfilling this wish and are expanding our range of WiFi on board. ”

Private customers can book the Inflight Europa Flat free of charge from the Magenta Mobil M tariff. For business customers, the flat rate should now also be available free of charge from the Business Mobil M tariff. Customers can simply book the option before they travel. The on-board announcement should inform you whether WiFi is possible in the respective aircraft. Travelers can then connect to the HotSpot manually via the airline portal or the Connect app. However, only when the cruising altitude is reached.

The offer should not only apply to Deutsche Telekom customers, but also to private and business customers of Magyar Telekom, Hrvatski Telekom, Slovak Telekom and T-Mobile Czech Republic. Here the One app is required instead of the Connect app.
