Friday giveaway July 10th: Watch Dogs 2, Killing Floor 2, Lifeless Planet & The Escapists 2

We’re back to the third edition of our new Friday Freebie weekly feature, which shows all the free games you can buy this weekend for absolutely nothing.

Every Friday we bring you a selection of all the games that you can download and play for free thanks to free weekends, freebies and the always generous people in the Epic Games Store.

Guard dogs 2

First, Ubisoft Watch Dogs 2 is giving away to anyone who logs into their Ubisoft account on July 12th. The idea is to trick people into looking at the Ubisoft Forward storefront, which offers a look at a number of upcoming Ubisoft titles, particularly Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Watch Dogs Legion.

If sitting another digital conference isn’t your thing, you just have to register at any time on the day of the presentation. We bring you the latest Ubisoft Forward news. So be sure to check if you are excited about Ubisoft’s upcoming release board.

We hand over what you can expect from Watch Dogs 2 to the official blurb:

Play as Marcus Holloway, a brilliant young hacker who lives in the birthplace of the technical revolution, the San Francisco Bay Area. Work with Dedsec, a notorious group of hackers, to perform the biggest hack in history. Take down ctOS 2.0, an invasive operating system used by thought leaders to monitor and manipulate citizens on a large scale. “

Kill floor 2

After the surprise of last week’s last-minute removal of Conan Exiles, Epic Games seems keen to remedy the situation and is giving away three freebies this week.

The first is Killing Floor 2, a co-op shooter that takes gamers into a replica of continental Europe overrun by murderous clones. This is the result of a failed experiment at the ethically questionable Horzine Biotech Corporation. You’ll play as a mercenary tasked with stopping the outbreak by knocking down a gunfire storm on increasingly grotesque zombie-like clones.

Lifeless planet

Next up is Lifeless Planet and Epic distributes the Premier Edition no less. This is how developer Stage 2 Studios describes the game:

“In search of life on a distant planet, an astronaut discovers an abandoned Russian city. He suspects that his mission is a joke until a mysterious young woman saves him from a strange and deadly phenomenon. Lifeless Planet is a third-party action adventure that features an old school science fiction story and spectacular environments in the spirit of classic action adventure. “

The escapists 2

The Escapists 2 from developer Moldy Toof Studios closes the giveaway for the Epic Games Store this week. When you merge The Shawshank Redemption and Pixel Art, you get The Escapists 2.

“Risk everything to break out of the world’s toughest prisons. Explore the largest prisons to date with multiple floors, roofs, vents, and underground tunnels. You must abide by prison rules, participate in an appeal, do prison work, and follow strict routines. Construct your bid for freedom all the time! Your antics from the prison escape take you from the frosty Fort Tundra, a train that races through the desert, to the last border! “

All three games will be available for free until next Thursday, July 16.
