Xiaomi has just released its entire arsenal of products for the second half of this year. The brand presentation event has served them to announce the arrival of different devices from their ecosystem to the global market, starting with true wireless headphones and ending with a monitor gaming. The Asian manufacturer’s ecosystem replicates the philosophy of its smartphone ecosystem, with knockdown prices that make it one of the cheapest options within each sector of the market.
Yes, Xiaomi sells a car again, but it is not what you think
My Electric Scooter Pro 2 and Scooter 1S, the new generation of electric scooters
Xiaomi’s bet for this 2020 begins with two of the manufacturer’s most anticipated scooters. On the one hand, the Pro model in its second iteration comes with a power of 300 kW, with a maximum speed of 25 kilometers per hour (the legal allowed in Spain) and a autonomy of 45 kilometers.
Depending on the brand, the scooter will be able to climb surfaces with a 20% slope. Likewise, it is accompanied by a double brake system and a sneak that will warn us in case the tires suffer a puncture during our journey. Its price is 550 euros and will arrive in our country on July 28.
As for the most economical model, the Scooter 1S, Xiaomi has announced that it will use a 250 W motor, with a maximum autonomy of 30 kilometers and the same maximum speed as its counterpart. The model in question will be available for 100 euros less, some 450 euros, on the 28th of this month.
Mi True Wireless 2 Basic, the cheapest wireless headphones of the brand
Following the Xiaomi roadmap, the brand’s True Wireless 2 Basic headphones arrive in a format very similar to Apple’s AirPods, with a box that offers us up to 20 hours of autonomy, 5 hours if we only use headphones.
Speaking of headphones, they have a driver 14.2 millimeters in size and are accompanied by a active noise cancellation system for calls. They also have a double microphone to improve sound quality, as well as several acceleration sensors that detect the movement of the headphones if we remove them from the ears to stop playback.
It should be noted that its box has a USB type C connection, something that contrasts with its starting price, about 40 euros. If we take advantage of the launch promotion from the 27th to the 30th of this month, the price is fixed at around 30 euros.
My Curved Gaming Monitor, Xiaomi’s foray into the world of gaming
The Xiaomi gaming monitor is official after it was presented half a year ago in China. It arrives in Spain with the same characteristics as the original model, with a 34-inch screen, 144 Hz frequency and UWQHD resolution, a variant much more elongated than the traditional UHD. In fact, its ratio is 21: 9.
Otherwise, the monitor boasts a maximum brightness of 300 nits, a 3,000: 1 contrast level, and a 121% sRGB color gamut. It also has two DisplayPort ports, two HDMI ports and a 3.5 mm port for audio. In addition to being compatible with AMD FreeSync technology, it has a rotating support that allows us to place the screen both horizontally and vertically. Its price is 400 euros, although today the date of arrival in Spain is unknown. It is expected to arrive from August, although there is nothing confirmed at the moment.
My TV Stick, the alternative to Xiaomi’s Google Chromecast
It had been rumored for a few weeks and it is finally official. The Xiaomi TV Stick arrives to give war to Google and Amazon with their respective products, the Chromecast 3 and the Amazon Fire TV Stick.
The model presented by the Chinese firm is capable of offering a maximum streaming resolution of 1,080 points. It has Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity and has compatibility with Dolby Atmos and DTS. As for its technical specifications, the Xiaomi Mi TV Stick has 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of internal storage and a quad-core processor whose model has not been provided by the company.
Beyond the technical specifications of the device, the brand TV Stick comes with Android TV, although the system version has not been specified. This whole pack is complemented by a button control dedicated to Google Assistant and an HDMI connection to connect it to the TV. Its price is 40 euros and will be available in our country from July 25 at the usual points of sale, as well as in the official Xiaomi store.
More stuff: My Band 5 and full Redmi 9 series
Xiaomi’s presentation has reached its climax with the announcement of the official arrival to the rest of the world of the Xiaomi Mi Band 5 (Mi SmartBand 5, according to the company). The global model does not differ from the original model except for one detail: the absence of NFC. Apparently, the company has decided to do without this connection, so we will not be able to make mobile payments through the bracelet. Its price is 40 euros, although we can buy it for 35 euros in the official Xiaomi store starting on the 20th of this month.
Another of the products presented by the Chinese firm is related to the Redmi 9 series. Specifically, the manufacturer will bring to Spain the Redmi 9A and the Redmi 9C, in addition to the Redmi 9 that was already on sale in the official manufacturer store. The first model will start from 100 euros (99 to be more exact) in its cheapest version, while the Redmi 9C will start from 120 euros (119, specifically). Both will go on sale at the end of July, like the rest of the launched products.
