Thanks to this function we can edit a video in a simple way. There are many video editors available for Android, some not too reliable, but Google Photos makes this process simpler. So, if you have several videos that you want to join, the application gives you the tools to do it.

Join several videos in Google Photos

In addition, we can create new movies, where it is possible to join these videos creating one, to our liking. This is something that we can do in the Android application in a simple way, without using a professional video editor for it. Also, it gives us some editing options that makes it especially interesting.

If you want to be able join several videos you have in the gallery of your phone in one, the steps to follow in this case are as follows:

  1. Open Google Photos.
  2. Enter the For you section.
  3. Click on Movie.
  4. Choose New Movie.
  5. Select the videos you want to join in this video.
  6. Wait for them to load.
  7. Choose the duration of these videos.
  8. If you want the video without music, click on the music note icon to deactivate.
  9. After adjusting the video as you want, click Save.

These are the steps necessary to be able to join several videos using Google Photos on Android. It is not something complex, in addition to giving us a couple of interesting options, such as being able to choose the duration of each individual video within this video that we create, so that each one can edit it the way they want. There are a couple of aspects to keep in mind when editing these videos.

Adjust video editing

When we are creating this video in Google Photos, we have a couple of options to edit it. The videos that we have selected in the gallery are shown in the same order in which we have chosen them, although it is possible that this is not the order in which you want them to be viewed in that video. Luckily, in the application you can choose that order to your liking, as follows:

  1. Select the videos from the gallery.
  2. On the edit screen, you see the videos at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Press and hold on the video to move.
  4. Move it to the desired location.
  5. Repeat the process with each video to get the desired order.

Another aspect to consider is the sound of the video. Google Photos defaults to music in the video we create, as we mentioned before, which is possibly something that not everyone wants. There are several options in this regard, since we can delete music, put a song that we want and also mute each video individually, which is done as follows:

  1. On the video editing screen, if you want to mute the video, click on the music note.
  2. Choose the mute option.
  3. If you want to add a song, click on the musical note and choose either your music or Google’s own songs.
  4. To mute an individual video, tap on the three vertical dots on the right.
  5. Press Mute.

So you go to have the sound or music you want in your videos, either choosing a song that you like or using the selection that the application itself makes available to us in this case.
