Is the Mi Band 5 Pro (with NFC) coming to Spain?

Everyone, by now, knows that Xiaomi has more than one Ace up its sleeve. While the My Band 5 It has already come to the market with the odd surprise but without major notable developments regarding the Mi Band 4, we are aware that there is a Mi Band 5 Pro with a couple of features that are, at this point, already required by users and signature fans.

No one doubts that the 2020 Xiaomi Mi Band 5 is a remarkable product, but the Chinese version is excellent. In our country we have received the My Band 5 global which, unlike what is known as Xiaomi Mi Band 5 Pro, does not have an NFC community, essential for making mobile payments with the device, or options to measure the level of oxygen in the blood, something that has been present in the competition for more than a year. To this we must add that women will not be able to enjoy menstrual cycle tools at the same time that we are unable to use Alexa with the bracelet.

In this way, it is quite clear that within our borders we can buy, for 39.99 euros, a “caped” version of the best mi band ever made by Xiaomi.

Are we waiting for the Mi Band 5 Pro?

Huami, a manufacturer behind the development of the Chinese company’s wearables, has registered with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), an exercise tracker (through Gadgets and Wearables) called Amazfit Band 6. This may be the US market name for the rumored Xiaomi Mi Smart Band 5 Pro (his real name) that people have been waiting for a worldwide release.

Although we are talking about the USA, it is quite clear that Europe is one of the best markets for Xiaomi, so it stands to reason that anything that could get to the other side of the pond would also reach Europe and, of course, Spain, a from the “spoiled” regions of the firm. Of course, there are no dates on when these would happen and, obviously, and there is no official confirmation.

Of course, we can remember how just a couple of weeks ago, very far from its original launch, yes, the Xiaomi Mi Band 4 with NFC landed in Europe at a fairly attractive price. This together with an increasingly important competition would lead Xiaomi to launch, hopefully sooner rather than later, its My Band 5 with NFC, Spo2 meter and compatibility with the Amazon virtual assistant.
