ProSiebenSat.1 is expanding its range of apps for Germany and Austria and is starting a show offensive with the quiz app “Quipp” – with the support of the Munich police, among other things.
“Quipp”, the live quiz app from ProSiebenSat.1, is significantly expanding its range of live shows. The free application now offers over 30 live shows per week in Germany and Austria.
In addition to the “Lunch Quippie” on weekdays at 1 p.m. and the main show “Quipp Classic” at 8 p.m. every evening, Quipp offers numerous new special interest shows at different time slots per day, including the weekly edition of “Moviemania”, which will be released in the coming years Shows busy with questions about the most popular Disney films, Mondays at 8:30 p.m. “Newsweek” is a new quiz for news junkies, every Saturday at 8.30pm. The new “Late Night Quippie” is aimed at quiz fans at the weekend, every Saturday and Sunday at 9 p.m. The new weekly “Quipp Crime” show cooperates with the Munich police and tests knowledge on the subject of law and order – every Thursday at 8.30 p.m. The “Galileo Show” focuses on topics from the ProSieben knowledge magazine, every Wednesday and Friday at 8.30 p.m. An Austrian edition of “Quipp Classic” live from Vienna is in the program every weekday at 7.30 p.m. Selected special editions of current shows on the ProSiebenSat.1 Group’s channels – such as the quiz for “Die! Heart! Blow! Show! ”On July 27th at ProSieben – round off the diverse range. The shows, which are up to 15 minutes long, are alternately moderated by the proven “Quipp” moderator team, which is complemented by prominent colleagues such as Steven Gätjen or Gil Ofarim.
The live quiz app “Quipp” started in November 2018. So far, over 1.6 million smartphone users have downloaded the app, according to ProSiebenSat.1.
