Motorola’s mid-range already has 5G. The company has launched the Moto G 5G Plus, a mobile phone that, despite the strange name, offers very interesting features for the price. The new Moto G costs less than 350 euros and offers us a quad main camera, double front camera, 90 Hz screen and a huge battery. All the details.
Possibly where the Moto G 5G stands out the least is in design. Although it is very striking, it is not the most premium device. The back is polycarbonate and the front. Although it has minimal frames, they are not as thin as other devices in the same range. At the back is that quad camera in a square-shaped lens. Right next to it is a rather elongated LED flash, as well as the Motorola logo in the center.
Unlike other models, eThis Moto G does not have the fingerprint reader on the back, it is on the side. The scanner works as a power button, and a little further up is the volume keypad. As for the front, it has minimal frames in the upper and lower area. A very interesting detail is that it includes a double camera for selfies. The firm has decided to go for two holes in the screen, instead of a bezel that includes the two lenses.
5G thanks to Qualcomm
As its name suggests, the Motorola Moto G 5G Plus has 5G network compatibility. This is thanks to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor, which includes a module that supports this connection.. Although it is not currently very adapted, we will soon start to see operators that offer 5G coverage, so it is good news that the terminals are including this feature. In addition to storage, the Moto G 5G Plus has a configuration of 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. If you think it is a low variant, you can opt for the version with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage.
The screen of this Moto G is 6.7 inches. It has Full HD resolution and also, it has a 90 Hz screen. This makes animations or scrolling when navigating the interface more fluid. The 90 Hz can also be compatible with games or videos, although currently there are not many that allow this screen refresh rate. If the 90 Hz worries you about the battery, you should know that the capacity is 5,000 mAh. In addition, it has a fast charge of 20w. According to Motorola, we will get up to 2 days of battery on a single charge.

Up to 6 lenses on the Moto G 5G Plus
We come to one of the most interesting features of the Moto G 5G Plus: the photographic section. It is interesting because it offers a lot of versatility, but it is also true that there are no great news compared to other phones of the same price. The main camera is a quadruple lens, with a 48-megapixel primary sensor. We also find an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera, as well as two sensors for macro (5 megapixels) and depth of field (2 megapixels).
The front camera is dual. Therefore, we have up to a total of 6 lenses in the device. This dual sensor has a resolution of 16 and 8 megapixels. Secondary sensor allows wide-angle photography.
Price and availability
The Motorola Moto G 5G will be available for purchase on July 8 and will be available in blue. The price changes depending on the versions, but the most basic costs 349 euros. A very interesting price considering the specifications. For 50 euros more (399 euros) we can choose the variant with 6 GB and 128 GB, which can be more useful if we are going to take advantage of the 5G connection.
