NBA 2K21 requirements on PC and trailer with real game

The developer 2K Games has confirmed the minimum and recommended requirements of NBA 2K21 in its PC version, a game that will be available for the current generation of consoles, PS4 and Xbox One, and that will have an improved version for the new generation consoles, Xbox Series X and PS5.

Unfortunately, at 2K Games they have thought that it is a good idea that the PC version is based on the same that will be used to shape the game on PS4 and Xbox One, something that, obviously, is noticeable in its requirements, which are very low for the current times, but which will imply an important sacrifice at the technical level at the same time.

I remind you that NBA 2K21 it will be a more expensive game in its version for the new generation, a topic that has brought controversy and that we had the opportunity to discuss in this article.

Still we cannot directly compare both versionss of NBA 2K21, but we will do so when the version for next generation consoles is released. In the attached video you can find new scenes of real game that reflect, in detail, all the keys of the game at a technical level. Without further ado, we entered to see the requirements.

NBA 2K21 minimum requirements

  • Windows 7 64-bit.
  • Intel Core i3 530 or AMD FX 4100 processor (dual-core, four-wire).
  • 4 GB of RAM.
  • GeForce GTS 450 or AMD Radeon HD 7770 graphics card.
  • DirectX 9
  • 80 GB of free space.

We have very low requirements, but there is a major error in the equivalences of graphics cards, since the HD 7770 is much more powerful (between 35% and 40%) than the GTS 450. The correct equivalence of the latter is the Radeon HD 5750.

NBA 2K21 Recommended Requirements

  • Windows 7 64-bit or Windows 10 64-bit.
  • Intel Core i5 4430 or AMD FX 8370 processor (quad core).
  • 8 GB of RAM.
  • GeForce GTX 770 or Radeon R9 270 graphics card.
  • DirectX 9
  • 80 GB of free space.

The recommended requirements are also no big deal. The equivalents at the CPU level are not bad at all, although the Core i5 4430 has a higher CPI than the FX 8370 and offers superior performance overall, except in environments where all eight threads of the second are really used. A Ryzen 3 1200 would be above the Core i5 4430.

We have another error in the graphical equivalences, since the GTX 770 is more powerful than the R9 270. The correct equivalent of the latter would be a GTX 660 Ti.

I don’t know
