New management for ZDF studios in Tel Aviv and Dresden

ZDF runs its studios in the Israeli city with Michael Bewerunge and Dresden newly occupied with Cornelia Schiemenz.

After three years as ZDF studio manager in Dresden, Michael Bewerunge will move to the ZDF studio in Tel Aviv on September 1st. At the same time, Cornelia Schiemenz succeeds him as studio manager for Dresden. Both have a lot of correspondence experience.

Before his three and a half years as studio manager in Dresden, Michael Berwange was a correspondent in the Rome studio from 2012 to 2016, where he was responsible for reporting from Italy, the Vatican, Malta and Greece. As early as 1992 he began his ZDF activity as a correspondent in the Bonn studio, until he took over the correspondence in the ZDF capital studio in Berlin from 1999 to 2012 and also worked as head of the “Berlin direkt” service. In Tel Aviv, he replaces Nicola Albrecht, who took over the management of the ZDF state studio in Brandenburg on August 1st.

Born in Leipzig, Cornelia Schiemenz worked as a ZDF editorial trainee in 2000/2001, initially as an editor in the main ZDF news department and in the ZDF capital studio. From 2008 to 2012 she took over the correspondence in the ZDF studio in Moscow, since 2013 she has been reporting as a correspondent from the ZDF capital city studio in Berlin.
