OnePlus announces Hydrogen OS 11
OnePlus has confirmed the presentation of this new interface on its profile on the Chinese social network Weibo. Hydrogen OS 11, based on Android 11, will be officially presented on August 10. In this event, all the new functions that the brand is going to introduce in this new version of its interface for phones in China will be known, so there are no Google Play services in this case.
One of the expected news would be the support for Always on Display. Several months ago it was commented that the brand was working to incorporate this function in its devices, and it seems that it would be official in this new interface, being one of the most demanded by users. The question is whether it will also be introduced in Oxygen OS. The new interface would also leave us with aesthetic changes and new animations. New functions are also expected, although at the moment it is not known what they will be.
The fact that Hydrogen OS 11 is presented next week may suppose that also Oxygen OS is going to become official soon, although at the moment nothing is known about OnePlus plans in this regard. One of the main doubts is whether in Oxygen OS we will have the same functions or if different functions will be incorporated. The brand has not confirmed anything so far, so we hope to know soon.
