And as expected, today July 31, the Chinese manufacturer OPPO has presented the international version of its first smart watch, the OPPO Watch. This model had already gone on sale in China, although there it used a proprietary operating system that we will see in international markets. And yes, it had appeared in Europe, although not officially.
With very good judgment, the brand has chosen to use Wear OS, the old version of Android for watches, as the operating system for its wrist device, making it also compatible with Google applications such as Pay and Fit.

Two versions of different sizes
As usually happens in this type of products, we will have two different sizes, one with a 41 mm crown and the other with a 46 mm crown. And be careful because the prices are quite different. The reason for this is that the 46mm model is equipped with 4G connectivity thanks to an Esim.
Both variants have 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of internal storage, water resistance suitable for swimming, electrocardiogram, NFC with Google Pay and interchangeable straps. The batteries of the two models are different but both have Super VOOC fast charge capable of filling in just over an hour.
The autonomy of these watches ranges from 36 hours if we use them with all their active functions to 20 days if we use them as simple watches.
Despite the fact that the chosen processor was expected to be the Snapdragon Wear 2500, we are happy to know that the company has finally opted for the Snapdragon Wear 3100, a much more modern and capable chipset.
In addition, they have a second processor, an Ambiq Micra Apollo3 Wireless, which manages wireless connections, improving autonomy.
