Yesterday Apple released the latest beta version of iOS 14, a version that is gradually polishing all the failures facing the final version that we will see in the month of September. But Apple has saved a launch, and that is that since yesterday we can enjoy Panoramic View, Apple’s Street View, in some of the most important cities in Japan. After the jump we give you all the details and we will tell you which cities have incorporated this new method of navigating the city.
As we say, it is already possible to use the Panoramic View feature in some of the most important cities in Japan, specifically in Tokyo (includes Yoyogi Park areas, and the Meiji Temple), Osaka, Kyoto, and Nagoya. Cities thate join the Americans Boston, Chicago, Houston, Las Vegas, New York, Los Angeles, and San Francisco among many others. To be able to enjoy this Panoramic View (Street View with Google permission), we will only have to navigate to one of these cities (it works in the latest version of iOS 13 and iOS 14), zoom in on the map, and click on the button that appears with binoculars. Then we can walk through the city as if we were in it. Tourism of the new normal?
The incorporation of the Panoramic View in some cities of Japan is undoubtedly great news, denotes that little by little we will see how other cities in the world begin to incorporate panoramic images rOutlawed by Apple vehicles. It should not be forgotten that these days should be celebrating 2020 Tokyo Olympics (delayed to 2021 due to the Coronavirus pandemic), so it is not surprising that this was already in Apple’s plans to provide these cities where the competitions of this Apple Street View would be held. We will inform you of all the cities that appear with this Panoramic View on Apple Maps.
