As we told you this morning, Xiaomi has taken advantage of lunchtime in Spain to present the Mi Band 5 in its global version. But this launch has not come alone, since Xiaomi had also prepared the arrival in Spain of its new entry-level mobiles. In this way, we already know the prices and date of launch of new Redmi 9A and Redmi 9C, which join the previously launched Redmi 9 to form the most affordable mobile phones of the firm.
Although a good part of the cake is distributed in the mid-range, it is not necessary to reach 150 euros to have a functional device and some hardware that we find in much more expensive terminals. During the presentation of the new cheap mobile phones of the firm, Xiaomi has constantly reminded itself that its competition, in these price ranges, has less solvent but more expensive bets than its Redmi 9A and Redmi 9C.
Redmi 9A, the cheapest from Xiaomi
As we saw in its Chinese presentation, the terminal does not hide its entry-level DNA, sporting a single 13-megapixel rear lens and a 5-megapixel selfie sensor housed in a notch. It also has a 6.53-inch screen with FullHD + resolution and IPS technology. In its bowels it integrates a processor MediaTek Helio G25 accompanied by only 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB storage, which luckily can be expanded by microSD cards.
With no fingerprint sensor anywhere, we find connections like 4G, Bluetooth 5.0, dual SIM and FM Radio. It boasts a large 5,000 mAh battery and moves with Android 10 and MIUI 11 as the dial layer of the house.
Redmi 9C, also modest but with triple camera
In this case, we continue with a modest device but one that climbs more than one step compared to its little brother. We find the same 6.53-inch screen, but it highlights its triple rear camera with 13 + 5 + 2 megapixel sensors. This Redmi 9C does have a fingerprint sensor on the back and it also sports a notch to house the front sensor. Recall that the terminal has as its brain the MediaTek Helio G35, a processor slightly superior to that of the Redmi 9A but that maintains its same configuration of 2 and 32 GB and offers a superior variant of 3 GB + 64 GB of storage.
Prices and sale date
As confirmed by Xiaomio, the Redmi 9C It will be available in August for a price of € 119 for its variant of 2 + 32GB, and € 139 for the 3 + 64GB. For his part, the Redmi 9A will be available for € 99, in its 2 + 32GB version, from next July 27.
