Samsung’s new flagship smartphones will launch with Snapdragon 865 Plus, Qualcomm announced yesterday. Gamers in particular should get their money’s worth.

Qualcomm had already announced the launch of its new Snapdragon 865 Plus processor in early July. With the Snapdragon 865 successor, the mobile gaming experience is to be improved with faster graphics calculation. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ 5G mobile platform supports 5G connectivity and offers speeds of up to 7.5 Gbit / s. The new Kryo 585 CPU should be able to achieve a clock frequency of up to around 3.1 gigahertz. In addition, the new FastConnect 6900 function is used, which according to developer information should enable improved and faster Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity.

With the more powerful processor, gamers all over the world can fight each other in real time, as can be seen from Qualcomm’s description. In addition, 5th generation artificial intelligence can be used, which can perform real-time translations on the 865+ mobile platform to break down language barriers.

Yesterday Qualcomm announced that the latest models from Samsung are also operated with the Snapdragon Plus platform. These include the Samsung Galaxy Note20 Ultra and Note20 in selected regions, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2 and the Galaxy Tab S7 / S7 + worldwide. The Samsung flagships now also have the turbo charging function from Qualcomm (DIGITAL TERNSEHEN reported).

Samsung presented its new flagship products yesterday in the online event “Galaxy Unpacked”. Customers can find an overview of the functions and features of the Samsung models in the Group’s online offering. So far, the ASUS Rog 3 has already been the first smartphone with this new technology to use the advanced Snapdragon processor. The device came on the market in July.
