Many Constantin Film productions will be shown exclusively at Sky Deutschland in the future. For example, the German version of the film with the most remakes of cinema history will celebrate its premiere on Sky this winter.
Seven friends, four men and three women, openly put the cards – or rather the smartphones – on the table at dinner and share all incoming messages with each other. Chaos preprogrammed. The idea provides material for a tragicomedy – no, not just for one: There are now 20 international versions of the Italian film “Perfetti sconosciuti” (about: “Completely unknown”) from 2016. Last year came the German one Adaptation by Bora Dagtekins, with Karoline Herfurth, Elyas M’Barek and Co., to the cinemas. “The perfect secret” became the most successful German cinema film of 2019.
In winter 2020/21, the film will celebrate its TV and streaming premiere exclusively at Sky Deutschland. Because the broadcaster has signed a multi-year license agreement with Constantin Film, the company behind the hit film. Through the agreement, Sky secures extensive linear and on-demand rights in Germany and Austria, i.e. for the Sky Cinema channels as well as Sky Q and the streaming service Sky Ticket.
The upcoming Constantin films, which will be shown on Sky a few months after the theatrical release, include the finale of the “Ostwind” series, “Ostwind – Der Große Orkan”, Paul W.S. Anderson’s new video game adaptation “Monster Hunter” with Milla Jovovich and the adaptation of the bestseller “Dragon Rider” by Cornelia Funke.
In addition, Sky remains home to Constantin Film Library titles such as the first four parts of the “Resident Evil” action series, the two “Wickie” children’s films, “Wickie and the strong men” and “Wickie on a long journey”, the family classic “The Neverending Story” and “Men’s Hoard”.
