After three months of renovation, the new Sky Sport News studio will go on air tomorrow. In addition to the studio structure, the broadcaster also changes its name and logo.
In February 2011, Sky Sport News HD was launched as a 24-hour sports news channel. Now the station’s studio has been rebuilt. After three months of remodeling, the broadcaster will be wearing a new look tomorrow at 10 a.m.
According to Sky, the heavily changed studio should be “more modern, more flexible and more flexible to use”. There are significantly more moderation positions, in addition to the classic moderation while sitting, there is also a high table and new benches. A round moderation table should make the studio appear larger. The central positioning creates more depth and the moderators can move better on the set. The talks can now be held in different constellations. Also new is a large LED touchscreen, which should enable a more dynamic presentation.
It is still possible to work with different lighting moods in the studio, so that the new studio can be illuminated in different colors to match the respective competition (own colors for the Bundesliga, Champions League, Wimbledon etc.).
With the new appearance, the station is also changing its name: the “HD” is no longer available. Accordingly, a new logo had to be created. The design is based on the designs of Great Britain and Italy. Sky wants to appear uniformly with its sports news channels.
