Spotify has just released a web tool that allows us to create custom playlists for exercise. The tool in question is called Soundtrack Your Workout, and as its name indicates, the objective is to put a soundtrack to our workouts. The first edition of the web application developed by the company creates a playlist on Spotify based on the type of exercise, the style of music and the number of participants that we have selected in the configurator, among many other aspects. It will automatically generate a playlist on our Spotify profile that we can follow from the platform itself.

How to create an exercise playlist with Soundtrack Your Workout
From today we can access the website created by Spotify to generate personalized lists based on our tastes. The website in question is accessible from the following URL:
Once inside, we will enter the login data of our Spotify user to proceed with the generation of personalized lists. After accessing the web, the tool will show us various screens that allow us to select different options to filter the songs to our liking. In this way, we can choose aspects such as the duration of the training (15, 30, 45 minutes …), the type of exercise we are going to do (yoga, cardio, dance, meditation, weight lifting …), the genre of music ( pop, rock, dance …) and even the intensity of the training.
Finally, the page will allow us to add a personalized photograph to the playlist, as well as a name to identify it within the platform. When we are done configuring all the playlist parameters, the web will show us a button that will take us directly to the Spotify application.
From the application itself we can save the playlist in our profile to listen to it later or share it with other users through the Share button. The best thing about this tool is that we can generate as many lists as we want. So, we can configure a different playlist depending on the type of exercise we are going to do.
