Stefanie Schneider remains state broadcaster director at SWR

The state broadcasting council of Baden-Württemberg of the Südwestrundfunk met today. At the meeting in Stuttgart, Stefanie Schneider was re-elected as regional station director.

SWR director Kai Gniffke had suggested Schneider as director. The panel approved the proposal. The SWR announced this today in a press release.

Stefanie Schneider was born in Sindelfingen in 1961. She joined Südwestfunk in 1991 before becoming program manager at SWR4 Baden-Württemberg in 2005 and program director of the state radio program in 2007. In 2014, she took over the position of Baden-Württemberg’s regional station director.
