Get ready to put your questionable surgical skills to the test. Surgeon Simulator 2 will be released in a few weeks and promises to be even stranger than the last game.
If you’re unfamiliar with the first game, the Surgeon Simulator is a dark-tempered surgical simulator with dangerously unskilled doctors performing surgeries on ignorant patients. You’ll have to work with shaky controls (be careful not to drop your brain) and physics-based operations. It’s a great little game to pass a few hours, so it’s good to see a sequel seven years later.
Build a bowling alley?
Surgeon Simulator 2 seems to be a big step away from the original. The main change between the sequel and the original is the new level editor for the creation mode. This way, players and up to three friends can create new challenges and experiences that can be shared online.

As you can see from the new trailer, this goes beyond your modest challenge in operations management. You can build and explore player-built dance halls, bowling alleys, and surgical challenges. Play with trap doors, a giant piano, a basketball court, and labyrinthine rooms.
Check out the trailer below to get an idea of what to expect.
There also seems to be a lot more control over building in this game. You can build architectural structures that select lighting, furniture, props, and the surgical equipment that you build into your theater.
When will Surgeon Simulator 2 be released?
Surgeon Simulator 2 will be coming to the Epic Games Store on August 27th. It will cost you $ 24.99 or £ 19.99.
Between August 7th and 9th there will be a closed beta that you can access if you pre-order this title.
By pre-ordering you will also receive a selection of exclusive cosmetics, including the Mad Scientist cosmetic set, the wristwatch cosmetic product and the Super Hero cosmetic set. You also get other extras like the Season Pass and the official soundtrack.
