A few years ago the market for tablets began to grow in a quite important way and many even saw it as a possible rival for the mobile phone market, at least in domestic and work environments. In 2020 the reality is a very different one, one in which Apple has dominance in the consumer sector and Microsoft disputes something in the workplace. But a new Samsung tablet wants to change that.
Official press images have been leaked and many of the features that Samsung’s new high-end tablets will have, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 and S7 Plus.
This Samsung tablet is a monster
Although there are two variants that will be presented in early August, the difference between them lies mainly in the size of the screen. The Tab S7 has an 11-inch diagonal and LCD technology while the S7 Plus has 12.7 inches and an AMOLED screen.
Both will be able to use one maximum refresh rate of 120 Hz while maintaining its maximum resolution, which will be QHD. Surely Samsung has decided to enable this, contrary to what their mobiles say, due to the greater battery that these devices can store.
According to the leaks, all variants of these tablets will use Qualcomm’s new processor, the Snapdragon 865 Plus, and will have at least 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage, although there are surely variants with more memory.
As for the cameras, it should be noted that in the front it will have a single 8 Mpx sensor but in the back it will have a 13 Mpx main sensor and a 5 Mpx wide angle, this not being common in devices of this type .
The 11-inch model will have 7040 mAh of battery and the 12.7-inch 10090 mAh. Both will be compatible with fast charging of up to 45 W although we will have to buy the charger separately.
Finally, these two tablets will be compatible with the new wireless DeX protocol that Samsung will presumably debut in the Note 20.
The presentation of the new Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Z Fold 2 will take place on August 5 and it is more than likely that this tablet will also see the light.
