Sky donated its own pop-up station to the DC superheroes in August. For a plentiful week, fans can follow the adventures of Batman, Joker, Harley Quinn and Co. around the clock.
From August 14th to 23rd, 15 DC comic films can be watched on the channel. “Sky Cinema DC heroes” is the name of the broadcaster. In addition to the much-noticed psychodrama “Joker”, there will also be the TV premiere of “Harley Quinn: Birds of Prey” on August 14th. This is Margot Robbie’s first solo appearance as Harley Quinn, who, after separating from the Joker (Jared Leto), puts together her own elite unit. The film can also be obtained in Ultra HD quality via Sky Q.
In addition, older comic book films are also part of the Sky Cinema DC Heroes program. For example, fans can watch Christopher Nolan’s famous “The Dark Knight” trilogy again. The second part of the series, in which Batman (Christian Bale) deals with the Joker (Heath Ledger), is considered a modern classic and a milestone in comic book films.
Other titles that have been announced include “Aquaman”, “Shazam!”, “Man of Steel”, “Batman” and “Batman’s Return” by Tim Burton with Michael Keaton as the title hero. Apart from your own pop-up station, the films can also be called up with the Sky Ticket, which can be canceled monthly.
