The Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 has not been launched yet and already receives its first update

This week the Galaxy Watch 3 was officially presented, Samsung’s new smartwatch, called to be one of the most popular on the market. While waiting for this new smartwatch of the brand to be launched in stores, it will arrive in Spain in two weeks, the first update for it is already a reality.

Samsung has not wanted to wait and launches the first software update for this Galaxy Watch 3. It introduces a series of new functions or improvements to the watch, so that users will be able to get the most out of it when they buy it in the coming weeks.

In this week’s Unpacked it was confirmed that the watch was going to receive this update in the coming days, so Samsung has kept its word. Thanks to it, the Galaxy Watch 3 will get a series of important improvements. The update is being rolled out via an OTA and weighs in at 80MB as you know.

What improvements come to the new Samsung watch? The brand introduces blood pressure measurement, the amount of oxygen in the blood, advanced statistics when it comes to running, sleep ratings and VO2max, which expresses the maximum volume of oxygen that the body can process during exercise. All these new features are made official in this update for the watch.

Blood oxygen tests are intended to provide information about the user’s healthalthough they are not accurate enough to be considered medical data. In fact, this function will not be available in all markets, because countries such as Algeria, Angola, Canada, France, Iran, Japan, Libya, South Africa and Thailand will not have access to this function on the Galaxy Watch 3.

Samsung has started with the deployment of this first update for your watch, although it will take several days to fully reach the watches. The watch is currently in the launch phase, in the case of Spain we have to wait two weeks, since it will be on August 21 when it will be officially launched.
