The update with MIUI 12 for the Redmi Note 9 has arrived

Updates from Xiaomi and more specifically from its MIUI 12 customization layer never reach all users at once, one of the reasons we find is the different ROMs. MIUI 12 is being initially deployed for the global version and after being well tested it has already started to be released for the Redmi Note 9 also in the European version, therefore it will arrive in Spain and all of Europe imminently.

This means that in a matter of days we would have to receive a notification on our mobile that warns us of this new update and if we do not, we will have to try to search for it manually. To do this we just have to go to Settings> About the phone> Updates and check it to find the latest software version number V12.0.1.0.QJOEUXM. In some cases the process can be as simple as we have explained, but in other cases we have to complicate ourselves a bit more, being able to find errors to verify the Redmi update and complete without problems.

The news of MIUI 12 for the Redmi Note 9

This update is a very important before and after for users, among other things because it corrects errors and problems that have been dragging since launch, we refer of course to the failures with the proximity sensor that caused problems when using the screen of this model. Along with this we receive in the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 the great face lift that includes MIUI 12 with new animations, changes in settings and aesthetics of the entire system.

The new privacy controls and notifications always present at the top will offer the user everything they need to know at all times about the different elements of the hardware being used. Dark mode not only reaches the system, it becomes completely dark and integrates with third-party applications in a better way. In the notifications and shortcuts bar the changes are highlighted again with the new control panel.

Xiaomi is fulfilling the MIUI 12 plan

When last month we knew the large number of devices for which Xiaomi promised MIUI 12 in the month of August, it seemed a bit risky, however with this first updated model also in Spain it shows us that it could be reality. The firm does not want to give court only to large high-end mobiles and the mid-range becomes a priority for them, for this reason it has integrated several of the successful Redmi models into the list.
