This weekend will be hot – very hot! If you don’t have a fan at home, you shouldn’t hesitate too long before buying it. Last year pedestal fans were partly completely sold out. Amazon currently has a few models in stock. We give three recommendations for every budget.
Buy fan at Amazon: bestseller and test winner from Stiftung Warentest
If you don’t have one yet, but need one, you should get one now Buy a fan. At the weekend it gets really hot with temperatures well over 30 degrees. Some don’t even want to leave the house. Fans ensure quick cooling at home and good devices are currently available from just over 20 euros. As soon as the first heat wave is over, prices could skyrocket in a flash. Last year some tried in vain to get hold of a fan. With many spending the summer at home, demand could be even higher.
We looked at the test results from Stiftung Warentest and scoured the current Amazon bestsellers and present you three pedestal fans with 40 cm diameter in the price range from 20 euros to 70 euros, which you can order immediately at a (still) low price.
Fan for bargain hunters: Clatronic VL 3603 S for 23.85 euros instead of 29.95 euros
Quick cooling for a small price: The Clatronic fan for less than 30 euros makes it into the top 5 at Stiftung Warentest and is also well received by Amazon customers. Above all, they praise the very good price-performance ratio. Stiftung Warentest awards the grade “good” (2.1) in the “Noise” category. The Clatronic has three speed levels and is very easy to use. Who one simple fan with no frills is in the right place.
Fan bestseller at Amazon: Rowenta VU5640 for 66.90 euros instead of 99.99 euros
With almost 2,800 reviews on Amazon, the Rowenta VU5640 is currently at the top of the Amazon sales charts for fans. With touch controls, automatic switch-off and five wind levels, it offers significantly more functions than the low-budget model from Clatronic. Amazon customers are particularly impressed by the “Sleep Silence Mode”, which ensures a fresh breeze with a particularly quiet noise level. The “turbo mode” also delivers what it promises, although the fan is a bit louder. Conclusion: Versatile fan at a fair price.

Test winner fan at Stiftung Warentest: Honeywell HSF600 for 80.47 euros instead of 89.99 euros
The Honeywell HSF600 is the winner at Stiftung Warentest in the pedestal fan category (grade 2.3) and can also fully convince Amazon customers (4.3 stars). It is the only one of the three models listed here with a remote control that can be attached to the device. Thanks to the timer, the fan can switch off automatically after 1, 2, 4 or 8 hours of cooling. The noise level is rated 1.7 by Stiftung Warentest, which is also confirmed by the reviews on Amazon. Overall, the Honeywell is one particularly quiet fan with very good equipment.
