Despite the difficult circumstances, Huawei continues to step on the gas: The latest smartphone from the Chinese can now be seen in several pictures for the first time – and presents itself as a real beauty. But potential cell phone buyers can’t really be happy about that.
Although Huawei’s cell phone business was severely affected by the US sanctions, the company has recently managed to replace Samsung as the world’s largest smartphone manufacturer. It remains to be seen how long this success will last, but Huawei is not lazy on the skin anyway – and already has its latest top smartphone in store with the Mate 40 Pro.
Huawei Mate 40 Pro: cell phone beauty with dual selfie camera
A series of high-resolution CAD drawings now show the coming cell phone from all sides. Huawei appears to have outdone itself in terms of design. The Mate 40 Pro is a real beauty with its curved edges. The highlight is the large and round camera module on the back, which looks a little like the legendary Lumia smartphones from Nokia. At the front, the double selfie camera catches the eye – the predecessor still had to do without this feature. The diagonal of the display should measure 6.7 inches, reports Pricebaba. A slight plus compared to the Mate 30 Pro.
Overall, the Huawei cell phone should measure 162.8 x 75.5 x 9 mm. Weight information is currently not available.
With these Huawei smartphones you can still strike without hesitation:
Bitter pictures for potential buyers and Huawei fans
Of course, these pictures are bitter for potential buyers and Huawei fans. They show a Mate 40 Pro that could become one of the best smartphones of the year – if there were no US sanctions and the mobile phone with access to the Google Play Store was launched. Whether the Huawei smartphone can be presented as expected in autumn is another matter entirely. Either way, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro should only be a real alternative to the Galaxy Note 20, iPhone 12 and Co. for very few.
