It is a tradition that Huawei presents its new Huawei Mate by the end of the year. These phones are the most ambitious of the Chinese giant and usually improve many of the aspects of the Huawei P and lay the foundation for Huawei’s high-end for next year.
The Huawei Mate 40 shows its gigantic camera
The well-known OnLeaks filter has published what would be the first render of the Huawei Mate 40, a mobile that aspires to be the best of Huawei for 2020, surpassing the P40.
This mobile would follow a line similar to that of the Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro that we met last year and that stood out for a large circular module for cameras, and which according to these renderings in this new model would be more extreme, with sensors that call attention for its size and thickness, appreciating a triple camera and a fourth hole that could be for the ToF sensor, autofocus and others.
As for the screen, the lateral curves are still present, although they are less extreme than in the Mate 30 Pro. The return of the physical buttons is appreciated (although we do not know if there will be a Mate 40 Pro that is the same as the 30 Pro ), as well as a cutout for the front cameras.
When will the Huawei Mate 40 be presented? At the moment we do not know the presentation date, but between August and September it is usually the date chosen by Huawei to present its new devices, shortly after they present the new generation of Kirin processors.
Regarding the processor, it is rumored that Huawei could be among the first to use a 5 nanometer manufacturing process and its name would be Kirin 1020, although to know all the details we will have to wait a few more weeks.
Given the current situation between Huawei and the United States, it is expected that this mobile does not include Google applications and services either.
