Sky Q gets an update – among other things with more space for recordings. There is still a small catch.
Even more storage space without additional costs: In the future, more than 800 hours of television will fit on the hard drive of the box. So it will be very difficult to miss the Sky Q Receiver at all. The rollout of the update, however, is only gradual until mid-August. So it can still take a while – if not too long – for everyone to get there.
Operation of Sky Q has also been made easier and more convenient. Thanks to the new detail pages, the optimized user interface combines all relevant information about your favorite content in one place: series episodes on demand, recordings, descriptions, available image formats or similar programs that the customer might like.
Max Konstantin Ehrhardt, Director Product Management at Sky Germany, on the update: “As promised, we are continuously developing Sky Q based on our customer feedback[.] The focus is on ease of use, clarity and intuitive short distances. “
