Warzone – Tweet confirms assumptions for Season 5

Instead of the famous hint with the fence post, the official Call of Duty Twitter account wagged the entire fence to make it clear: the stadium will open for Season 5.

Call of Duty: Warzone

Last week, the start of the 5th season for Call of Duty: Warzone and Modern Warfare was announced with small clips. The start date will be August 5th and there were also a few pointers regarding the content.

Above all, these turned a train that runs over the map and the opening of the big stadium in Verdansk. There has already been much speculation about both innovations, at least as far as the stadium is concerned, the developers have almost confirmed the assumptions.

With a tweet, the CoD account searches for a name for the stadium and explains “Their doors are open to ideas”.

Only a tweet with the following text would have been clearer:

The Verdansk stadium opens on August 5.

Beer: 8 euros

Currywurst: 12 euros (French fries for an additional charge of 5 euros)

Personalized tickets are not transferable.

The bag control at the entrance should be quite problematic, since absolutely everyone will bring a gun to the stadium.

CoD: Warzone – More Season 5 clips and appearance by the Shadow Company

Activision continues to scatter hints about Season 5 of Call of Duty: Warzone and Modern Warfare. There are more clips and streamers get news from the Shadow Company.

Call of Duty: Warzone and Modern Warfare’s new season 5 marketing plan appears to be distributing small clips and messages to streamers. After Nickmercs and TeePee received clips, it was JackFrags’ turn.

There is a in his clip Entrance to the stadium to see. In terms of time, the clip is behind that of TeePee in the same place, as can be seen from the description on the top left. So it seems after the big explosion To be at the end of the clip is a landing helicopter, probably the one from the clip by Nickmercs.

But the streamers got more the Shadow Company sent them letters. Here you can see that from TeePee, but the streamers all got the same message.

who of you Modern Warfare 2 still has in mind, should the Shadow Company be familiar, it is General Shepherd’s unitwho supported the betrayal of Task Force 141. It seems that this troop of elite soldiers has found its way to Verdansk. Whether as a new faction or as an operator is not yet known.

The previous clips confirm many partly mysterious finds in the current season. These include the moving loot trains and the opening of the stadium. However, the explosion does not seem to originate from the nuclear warheads found, otherwise there would be no helicopter after the second clip that could land in the third.

CoD: Warzone – Season 5 promises trains and violent explosions

Activision is currently sending small clips to streamers that provide information about the 5th season of Call of Duty: Warzone and Modern Warfare. The only thing that is clear about the videos is the release date.

Nickmercs was the first to get his clip in which Indent You can see a helicopter rushing past and the train emits a loud signal.

TeePee received the second clip. Only one room can be seen in this room, its surveillance camera by one big explosion is destroyed outside the building.

Underline these clips two currently circulating theories. On the one hand, a train will soon be traveling through Verdansk and, on the other hand, a large (atomic) explosion should completely redesign the map. Both occurrences are at least hinted at.

It is possible that more clips will follow by August 5th and reveal even more about Season 5.
