In the new book “Expedition: Values, Work, Leadership 4.0” designed by Peter Jeutter and Ralf Karabasz and published by Markus Dohm, TÜV Rheinland, André Große Jäger, Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, and Klaus Rüffler, DB Systel, give the Authors many suggestions, ideas and practical examples. Based on this book, the authors are now presenting their theses on the world of work in the online event and refer to the latest developments.
The start was made on May 20 by publisher Markus Dohm, board member at TÜV Rheinland, who said that there would be no “back to 2019”. Two weeks later, on June 3, another publisher, André Große-Jäger, Head of Unit in the Federal Ministry of Labor, addressed the basic workers, who often do important work without formal qualifications, as the corona crisis has shown.
On June 17, DB-Systel HR Manager Klaus Rüffler reported on his experience with changes in the world of work. On July 1, Fiducia Chief Human Resources Officer Jörg Staff explained the changed role of HR managers and asked them to tackle the changes more courageously. On July 15, Professor Jutta Rump asked the question: What are the key skills for employability today and in the post-Corona period?

On July 29, at 4 p.m., Hans Jörg Stotz, board member of Festo Didactic SE and member of the board of trustees of the Fraunhofer Center for International Management and Knowledge Economy, will speak about current labor market issues. His focus is on training and further education in the context of digitization and Industry 4.0. He supports German-Chinese cooperation in the area of Industry 4.0 and the WEF’s Advanced Manufacturing platform.
The organizers of this new format are the synergy sales service, in cooperation with TÜV Rheinland, the Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, the Initiative New Quality of Work (INQA) and the COMPUTERWOCHE.
The series of events takes place every two weeks – at 4 p.m. and lasts around 45 minutes. On other dates, other high-ranking authors of the book just published will report on their experiences from the currently very moving time. They tell what surprised them – both positively and negatively – and provide forecasts of what will change and what will remain. In short, they take stock and talk about the consequences of the current upheaval. This series of events is moderated by Michael Schmidt, TÜV Rheinland, Hans Königes, COMPUTERWOCHE and Ralf Karabasz, Synergie.
