Samsung today introduced two very different smartphones with the Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. By eliminating the Plus model, the difference seems almost too big. GIGA was able to get a first impression in the hands-on video.
Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra launched
The names Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra are very similar, but the two smartphones don’t have much in common anymore. The Note 20 is much cheaper, has a flat 60 Hertz display, the camera of the Galaxy S20 and a plastic back. Samsung charges 949 euros for this – in the 4G version. And then there is the jump to the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. An absolute high-end beast for 1,299 euros – with 5G, 120 Hertz display, the latest Gorilla Glass, 108 MP camera and larger battery. Basically, the cell phones only have the S Pen, which now changes sides. In the following video we show you both phones in detail:
Samsung has made sure that the productivity of the new Note 20 series is optimized. This makes writing with the S Pen even more natural, the PC mode DeX now works wirelessly and the software has been optimized to make it easier to continue working on another device. Samsung makes no secret of the fact that it is a business product.
The cooperation also brings a surprise. The new Samsung phone is optimized for Xbox Project xCloud. So you can connect the Note 20 to an Xbox controller and then play over 100 Xbox games via the cloud.
