On September 23 and 24, there will be a varied program of lectures in Erfurt on all aspects of digital broadcasting and artificial intelligence in the media sector. The keynote will be held by Prof. Ulrich Reimers.
The program for the 16th Workshop Digital Broadcasting WSDB is now online. The biennial workshop is scheduled for September 23 and 24 in Erfurt. So that the implementation under the currently applicable clearance rules and requirements is possible on site, the Congress Center of Messe Erfurt was chosen as the event location.
The WSDB is taking place for the 16th time this year. It offers experts from industry, media and research institutions a forum to present and discuss current topics and projects in the fields of digital broadcasting and multimedia services.
The two-day workshop will open with a keynote from the pioneer of digital television, Prof. Ulrich Reimers. The participants can look forward to a varied program with lectures and experience reports on the subject of digital broadcasting and AI in the media sector. If an on-site event is not possible due to the current corona pandemic, the WSDB is carried out as an online workshop. Further information on the program and registration are available at www.idmt.fraunhofer.de/wsdb2020. The WSDB is organized by the Fraunhofer Institute for Digital Media Technology IDMT based in Ilmenau.
