Xiaomi phones that are updated to MIUI 12 in August

It is true that MIUI 12 has already made an appearance on the occasional Xiaomi mobile but in 90% of the times, it is either a beta version of the software or an “incomplete” version, as we must remember that not all models mobile will receive the same version of MIUI.

The last MIUI 12 version will start to reach 23 devices starting next month, globally, according to Xiaomi. The list of mobiles that will receive the update from next week, with the beginning of August, includes 17 Redmi phones, including the Redmi Note 9 and Redmi Note 8 series and Pocophone models.

Most of the devices that “have made the cut” are from the Xiaomi Redmi series, which is great news for the firm as it is a way to keep the company’s cheapest phones up to date. According to the manufacturer, even the Redmi 6, which launched with Android 8.1 Oreo more than two years ago, will receive its corresponding portion of the operating system.

Not everyone receives the same news from MIUI 12
