Fans will have to wait a little longer before they can embark on the adventures of the upcoming Shadowlands expansion, but preparations at Blizzard are in full swing. That’s why the zombies are loose on the test servers and spread fear and terror.
World of Warcraft: Shadowlands is in the starting blocks and Blizzard is currently testing the event that could herald the expansion. Hundreds of zombies are currently storming the capitals and lands of Azeroth, turning them into a virtual The Walking Dead. They don’t stop at NPCs or players in order to spread the infection as quickly and widely as possible.
World of Warcraft game designer Jeremy Feasel stated that the zombie invasion was only active on the test servers for a few hours a day. In the fall, the event will most likely move to the live server – and if it resembles what’s happening on the test servers, it will be the purest bloodbath.
WoW: A new max level
Currently, the max level in World of Warcraft is three-digit – level 120. That will change, however, because with the help of a so-called “stat squish” everything is scaled down. That includes the level, the life points, the damage and so on. As is typical for an extension, of course, skill changes are inevitable. Many new skills will not be added, but many old skills will have a comeback.
With Shadowlands the story of WoW expands.
Your character will be set to level 50 in the pre-patch. With the introduction of Shadowlands, you have to work your way up to the new max level 60.
When exactly World of Warcraft: Shadowlands will be released is not yet known. Fans expect a release in 8 to 10 weeks.
